Homecoming is fall (usually) and Prom is Spring. I will say that if I had a daughter I would let her take it providing her driving record is spotless. She must be the one driving it, no one else under any circumstances. I was offered a Shelby GT500 convertable by a family friend as well as my cousins mustang gt convertable (no camaro's in the family) to drive prom. I took the standard GT convertable because I couldn't drive a stick at the time. I washed and detailed it as well as paid for the tank of gas. (2008 graduate with a spotless record)

SHE CAN'T DRIVE THE RENTAL
Give it up Poorman the message isn`t registering! But here is a message that might sink in, if her father were to rent a car for them the insurance is in the renter`s name, so if anyone but the renter is envolved in a accident or any moving violation the renter is on the hook for allowing an uninsured driver to operate the rental car not to mention any lawsuits should there be an injury accident.

What have the car in one piece just about every time? Just about every member here from 16-18 has their car in one piece and sometimes better condition than adults... not sure what you are trying to prove?

Ya that`s why insurance companies charge so much for underage insurance because they (the underage driver) keep their cars in such good condition and in one piece. You might be the rare exception but generally the rest are not that good at avoiding accidents and stupid stunts.

that's obvious. Car had 4 passengers screaming and hollering and driver did some crazy donuts - back passengers couldn't hold in their booze - back tires couldn't hold onto its tire thread.

don't even ask to use the Camaro. If anything happens to it (even in the parking lot) you will feel like $h!t

I would say yes to the daughter, but we all know who's really gonna be driving the car for the night, lil Jr.
So one more vote for NO

Hi my names Tom. I'm 16 and have driven my dads SS. I'm sure by the time I was a senior he would let me take it to homecoming. The way my dad sees it is that in a couple years the car will be mine and I need to learn how to drive. Just don't let any one else drive it. Other people will always have less respect for your property than you do.
