There is a version called tail wire that would seem to be a good choice, and, someone in this thread was going to try it. Nothing from them in a long time.

Hey guys, great mod cheap and i have started to install the regular cloth piping but im having trouble with the door panels. I wanted to ask those who have done this, how they fitted the pipping around the door panels? Do you have to uninstall the entire panel?

Tony did you ever get yours in with the EL wire?? I'm thinking a combination of the ABL install (as far as the wiring goes) and the fabric tuck method.
