Yeah, and I am loving it! I can feel a real noticeable difference in the car. I could have done a Powerbond Underdrive Pulley and ported throttle body & manifold for about 15 more hp at $700. But, I have a hole in my back pocket now. CNC heads for $1200 and an additional ~20-30 hp.

You mentioned doing a Stage 2 if you did it again. I'm sort of on the fence on that one too... Do you think a higher stall would help at the stop lights and such... 2600 seems a bit now for Stage 3...

BTW your car rocks... no pun intended...

Car sounds amazing!! I enjoyed the video as well. I think your cam choice is spot on, I heard the other cam you talked about and I like the one you picked out a whole better... good job!

Yeah, the higher stall would have definitely help, but how much of a difference is a probably a guess and matter of opinion. I wanted the muscle car feel and be able to get this car moving. So, I chose the cam and they chose the TQ Convertor. It's a hard call to make, because you just can't simply bolt the TQ Convertor on, take it off, and try another. Don't get me wrong, I am really happy with it...just taking some getting use to it, that's all. What I have now is probably a good fit for you young guys. LOL. If I went with 2C, then I would not have needed the TQ Convertor. I do a lot of short distance driving and hit quite a few lights going to work. Highway driving is great. It' fun to drive. I get a lot of people turning heads and probably some are thinking cool and some are thinking what's wrong with his car.

Thanks! I am really happy with it. I am know getting use to it driving around town after bringing it back from Michigan, which was all highway driving.

LOL... I'm probably the older one here...
I've had a 3200 stall on for a couple months now and it's the best mod I've done so far. Actually you can take them off and have the stall changed. (still not easy though) Haven't done the cam yet, but I really like the sound of yours...

Thanks for the real world descriptions...

Your welcome! Glad to help. Yeah, can I always change it out, but that was some pricey labor to putting in the Stall. Not something you want to do, unless you have unlimited funds.

They recommend the 2400 stall for my maggie and cam that I am getting done. Describe the faults with in town driving. I know nothing about a stall. Should I not get one?

I would start with what they recommend and then ask a lot of questions and express your driveability expectations. I have the 2R Max Cam and 2600 Stall. The only thing to be aware of is that the car will rock side to side at the stop lights with car in drive. Not terrible, but it is noticeable. The car will sometimes get into a dynamic side to side motion that may not be desirable to you. The way I overcome it is to place it in neutral to calm it down. I guess it takes the load off so to speak. If you have ever been in one of those NASCAR simulators when it starts up...this is probably the closest resemblance I can think of.

I will have the 2C cam since I am a s/c'd car. I dont expect that it will be as intense as your cam however I did have a car before like that and it was a nice grin everytime I drove it however was not a daily. What I want is the benefits from a stall but I dont want to feel any difference in drivability. They told me even though the 2c does not require a TC it will try to push you threw a light which can be just as annoying as rocking side to side over time.

PM sent.

The converter is suppose to help prevent the car from pushing you through the stop lights. So, my setup does not give you that feeling or indication. Just the rocking side to side, which I just put it in neutral when I am at the stoplight for a longer amount of time than usual or when the car hits the dynamic side to side motion. I don't have to press on the brake pedal any harder than before the converter and cam.
