Question What lured you to the 5th Gen?

Was is the Bumble Bee? Were you always a Chevy guy/girl? Did the concept spark something inside? Did you see one on the road? Was it the style.. the performance or just a random purchase?

Just curious to everyones responses of what lured you to become a 5th generation Camaro owner/enthusiast??

For me... when I 1st saw the concept I was intrigued. The style was like no other car I have seen.. aggressive... retro yet contemporary. The car looked great from every angle.. From there I followed the car through the works and into production. I originally ordered a yellow 1SS with black stripes..just before my order was accepted i was a vid on youtube of a silver coupe. That day i chaged the order to a SIM 2SS/RS

I've always been a Chevy/Camaro man.... so it was a no brainer when the concept showed up in 2006. No lure needed.... just patience!

Camaros have always been my favorite cars and I was waiting for that day when they announced the return of the Camaro, definitely one of the best days of my life.

Concept car got me thinking, and the first transformer movie sealed the deal. I had to have it.

My Camaro is the first Chevy I have owned.

Saw the concept in 2006, knew it would be my next car. Love at first sight.

I fell in love with it when I saw the concept. A lifelong GM/Chevy guy I always wanted a true musclecar. A dealership near where I work had 6 different SS'S sitting out front. I fell in love with a SIM 2SS with the RS package flat black stripes and hockey sticks on the sides. I love the lines of the car and its' stance. This is the first car I bought with no regrets. Awesome ride.

Sitting in a Chevy / Cadillac dealership for 6 hours staring at a Black/ Black SS 6MT while my father negotiated for his new CTS is what did me in.

Around hour 1: Decent car
Around hour 3: starting to really like the lines
Around hour 5: I REALLY think I want one!
Hour 6: Can you find a Red Jewel 2LT with the RS package and no sunroof? Really? I"LL TAKE IT!

Became a camaro guy in 1978 when I bought a 69 RS coupe. Followed it up 2 years later when I traded the coupe for a rusting 69 SS convertible ! Restored it from the ground up. When the 5th gen was announced it was a no brainer, went for the Coupe in June 2009 and now following it up with a Convertible hopefully before April ! Never really cared for the Gen2-Gen4.

Lets just say I was lured shortly after my fiancé and I separated. We're married now, but she pretty much hates the Camaro. Lol
