We'll see what I can sneak past the wife. It was a lot easier to get something by her when she was working!!

I was up at 3am with my son!! Glad it wasn't with a hangover...

okay everyone, if everyone agrees we have a new place to meet.

i just got back from a party at The Forge Bar & Grill
its on 1604 and Stone Oak. Its a cool little place to hang
out. I meet the owner Marcus and he told me that he would
love to host one of our Friday Night Meetings. He said that he
would give us $2. draft and $ shot specials not bad. They also
have a small kitchen that serves phillycheese steaks, grilled chicken,
wings and other things.

he his also looking to have a car show sometime soon. well just wanted
to you all's thoughts. let me know. ( they have really nice bar tenders..lol. )

Hey, anyone with a CGM have any touch-up paint?? I debadged the camaro and everything was going great until... well I got in a hurry nicked the paint

It's not bad... but I know it's there.

The connection to TGI Fridays has been severed. Due to our Camaro insider leaving the establishment, our club is moving on to a new spot this Friday. IHOP will be the cruise-in location this Friday, January 21st. I talked with the manager, Mason, and he is excited to hear we'll be rolling in. He really needs the business! There is roughly 20-25 parking spots right in front of the restaurant with a patio over looking the parking area. The manager said there would be no problem putting cones out to mark our territory. The restaurant closes at 10 pm on Fridays (I know thats pretty early) but he did say he wouldn't have a problem letting us hang out there until they are finished cleaning and prepping the place for the next day. Which is around 11:30ish.

The location is:

IHOP Express #6001
22506 US Hwy 281 N, Ste 106
SAN ANTONIO, TX 78258-7560

Showtime: 6:30 - 7:00 pm or later.

I know there is some Pros and Cons to this location and I know not everyone is going to agree with it, but I think it would be a nice change (even if it might only be for one Friday) from other places we've visited in the past. I do know the prices are a lot cheaper and the service...well, we'll have to see...TGI's was getting pretty weak there toward the end.

Other places we might want to take a look at is Alamo Cafe', Los Generales, and a really good & inexpensive pizza place. Let me know your thoughts. FYI - Martha's and Joe's Crab Shack really wasn't as accepting and friendly as I thought they should be.

Maybe I can get over there and stake out the place for Friday, January 28th. How is the parking Ernest? Is he willing to reserve us spots?

Great job darrel look forward to something different and closer (for me at least) afterwards we could just cruise up to a parking lot like HEB and take over a small corner or I'll offer my house to hang out at.
