El Paso is about 7.5 hours, Las Cruces is about another hour, if the traffic gods are with you.

Okay guys and girls!

I met with the manager at the local fuel stop ( Abilene ) and we have a place here in town with 12 pumps that all have 93 octane. If I can get them an accurate number of vehicles he said he will have 3 or 4 cashiers on hand plus have the area opened for extra parking.

I'm also working on a breakfast stop. We have a Dennys just down the road that can sit 100 people if needed. If everyone is interested I'll get with them and make arrangements for that. I'm counting down the days!

Jess

Just realized the Fest is on the same weekend as a run I signed up for, so I'm out. It was a maybe anyway, but now it's for sure. Gotta stick to my fitness commitment. I'll just have to live through everyone's pictures

We'll let you run while we drive... and when you get tired of running you can even walk for a bit...

Guess we'll have to carry the torch for you...
