Cant get a replacement bulb socketed ???

I'm finding I have a ridiculous problem.. I cannot, for some reason, get a replacement bulb to seat into the passenger side head lamp.

The replacement bulb went in OK on the driver side but it wont twist to lock when I get it notched on the passenger side.

Has anyone else run into this? I can put the stock bulb back in and it goes in and twists to lock without a fuss.

Finally got it.. I noticed the replacement bulb has a gray rubber ring at the base, and the stock bulb did not.. so I got a mirror so I could see the spot where the bulb goes in and I saw a red rubber ring there.. I pulled that off and the bulb went right in. I guess that extra gasket made it too thick to seat properly. Oddly enough I went back and checked the driver side and the red ring was still there even though the new bulb seated fine.

Thumbs up You'll dig it. Do it!

It's easy. Just stick it in the hole and SCREW. I always get great results. It's hella fun, too!
