First I think you should look at it closely Danny and make sure its not a defect in paint vs something flying back and hitting it. Should be a little bit of a ding I think if something came back and hit the area.

If you don't want to take it back to your guy in fear of delays and what have you, call up to Sam's Automotive in Carmel. They have a guy who has a shop across the street who is suppose to be really good and uses the newest technology in waterbase paints. Does standard and custom work and I hear he is more than reasonable. They are located at 431 West Carmel Drive Carmel, IN 46032-2529 - (317) 843-1334 Open Weekdays 8am-5pm
and ask for Hubie Sams.

finished all my work this weekend, and have some pics to post once my lazy put pulls them off the camera. Then of course after all done and cleaning up, found a piece that needs to go back on.. dang it! It's the little plastic piece at the base of the 12V plug. So I took it back off and need to put that on then I'll be finished again.

1. Replaced the Stabilitrak, 12V and Shifter plate covers (painted all gloss black) from TCFS
2. Replace the 4 guage pack cover with all black leather, OEM stitching from DSV
3. Added some RAAMAT (sound deadening) in the truck

Hey Indiana Camaro Club! I'm in Fort Wayne, but most of my family is in Indy and I grew up in Indy. I look forward to the spring and seeing what events I can wiggle out of work for.

How's everybody doing in the snow? I bought the Pirelli Ice/Snow tires and I've been fine. I actually passed a S-10 spinning their tires at a light the other day.

Welcome boilermaker!

Stay tuned here for events. We usually have something about once a month or two in the summer. Next event is Autorama World of Wheels at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Feb 11 through the 13th. I have entered my car as part of the Central Indiana Camaro Club display.

Of course my car is a garage queen, so it has not seen snow except when the garage door is open. Some others here drive theirs in the winter and might be able to chime in. I have heard the Pirelli P-zero summer only tires are horrible in the snow as one might expect.

I've done this several times for less than a car show. Don't feel like your going overboard! LOL! You MUST remove the wheels!

Unless you got a package, you didn't need the Z2. You use either Z5 OR Z2. Obviously you want Z5. I have used Zaino for years. If you haven't its A LOT of work. I gave up on it. Looks great but too much for me!

Remember with ZFX, 3 coats a day maximum. The more coats the better it looks. Up and down on the doors, fenders and quarters. Front to back on the hood, trunk and roof. Use Z6 in between each coat. I see you didnt get grand finale. I'm really impressed with that. I still use the wash, the Z6 and the grand finale.

And you totally should have got the blonde towels! They are AWESOME.

Hi guys!! I am waiting for my CGM 'vert to arrive and am wanting to get a clear bra put on. I have family in Indy and grew up there and so I am more comfortable going there for this kind of thing over where I live here in Springfield IL. Has anyone had it done and where would you suggest? Also, I will be looking to have strips painted rather than vinyl, so should I have that done before the clear bra? I can't wait until spring and the cruising season begins. I look forward to maybe even being able to join you all. Thanks for the help!

You definitely want to have the stripes put on first. That way they can clear coat it. Once that is done, then you can have the clear bra installed. hrpiii has had his clear bra for quite some time now.

I am going to do mine this summer after the dealership fixes the dirt in the original paint.

loves it. The flash on the camera takes away from it some, as the 'gloss black' shines a little more in the picture, but in the car, it's a little more subtle.

oh, and I forgot to include I replaced the e-brake handle with a leather one from DSV and added the leather boot to it.

I am going to take a few more pics as I did not like the first ones as much. And I need to bring it out of the garage and take some from natural light.
