The SS boys are starting to sound like the BMW M-series guys...they get PISSED when an 'imposter' is found in the ranks. These guys are vicious...starting to hear that here.

Can we not all just get along? Respect the car for what it is: A Car. Not a penis extension. Not breast augmentation. It. Is. A. Car. PERIOD.

And remember, imitation is a sincere form of flattery. You should be honored that they want what you have, give a thumbs up and drive on by.

BTW: When did V6 Camaro become equal to Fat Chick? I did not see that memo.

Its nothing wrong with rebadging if you do it the "right" way IMO. For example, I seen guys with HEMI Badges on a V6 - No Good! But if u just rebadge, for example, the RS and u installed all the options that make the RS - Good!

IMO, the best rebadge i've seen was someone with a black Porsche Cheyenne rebadged with VW. It had me confused to the point i had to ask the guy.

I would rather have my SS look like a sixholer than have phony SS badges. I have thought about removing the SS badges and I think that the sixholer front end looks better than the mail slot. If someone wants to put SS/RS badges on their six, who really cares anyways, it's kind of like getting a temporary tattoo or trailering your motorcycle to Sturgis. You can hang out on Main St. and pretend but deep inside you know the truth.

Their car that they paying for I dont see what the fuss is about. If it makes them happy then thats what matters maybe they just like the way it looks. I have noticed myself with those badges ect (not camaros per say) the owners will be the first to admit that the badge or whatever is just a sticker or not really that model car. Seen it done with BMW's with the M, AMG with Benzs and Nizmo's with nissan just to name a few

Yep, it is their car and they can do with it as they please and there are those of us who can also have an opinion on it and feel it is fundamentally wrong to do this. Not a fuss, an opinion which we are all entitled to.

Not sure what the big deal is. The difference between a person who has an SS and someone who wants an SS is the desire to spend another $8000.
