Benefit Car Shows

I urge everyone who is a animal lover to come attend the Paws 'N' wheels in the park car shows to benefit "No kill" animal shelters. Due to the recent downturn in the economy, there is a record number of animals that are being abandoned at pounds and animal shelters.
All proceeds from these shows are donated to this great cause.
Jim Harvey donates all of his time and effort into setting these up, and I commend him for that.
So if you love seeing great cars, and would like to attend, or just come out to watch, all donations are appreciated.
You can find the show dates and times on hotrodhappenings.com

I like this cause as well. Jon & I both enjoyed the car show in Denton @ Hooters (where we ran into you). I also like that they are animal friendly and they brought some pets to come hang out too.

Yes, you can bring your dog out and there are usually several shelters there that have some of their dogs that are up for adoption available.
I adopted a wonderful chocolate lab mix, Layla, last year.

I'm glad to see there are other animal lovers out there for myself. For the last few years instead of adopting a orphan @ XMAS I have been donating that money to a local No kill Animal shelter in my area... actually I just bought lots of dog food and ETC and delivered it to them. No its not a kid but in my Family we treat our pets like our Family.

I cant seem to open up hitrod happenings here at work when is this show ?

if its this coming and next weekend im affraid im going to be out of town on Vacation.

Good to see carshows for good causes

I give up. That website is a mess. Do you have any details on this show (dates, times, location, etc.)?

The first show is not until April, and the site is undetermined at this point. The web site is listed below, and the show site will be posted later.
I will be out with a large group and there are usually hardly any 5th gen Camaros in attendance. I would love to see some more out there.

I won't do facebook so can you keep us posted to when and where. I'm in as long as I'm in town.

We have gotten all but one pet from shelters, and all future pets will come from shelters.

This is a great cause but that site is not user friendly if your looking for info on this show. That along with the fact that many folks don't do facebook.... why not post the info here for interested folks.

Thanks

I will list the details here as soon as they become available. It will be in the DFW area but not in the parking lot of a restaurant somewhere.
It will be held in a scenic location with many planned events.
We had a show last year out near Little Elm on the polo grounds, and I, and everyone else really enjoyed the location.

Stay tuned.
