ok, i had a question then, if the 9 speaker system comes on the 2ss, does it include the 2 10" MTX subs like seen on the poster?

I would be willing to bet it will, cause every one of the cars that I have done Ive put dynamat behind the licence plate with teflon washers along with a dynamat trunk kit and it still rattled. There is no way to stop the trunk latch from rattling either. Granted, it wasnt nearly as bad as the 86' buicks with the 15's(aka fiddeens, aka king kong) in the trunk. But I think those guys like the rattle for some reason.

What we do know is that all of the accessories pictures are general pictures. For instance, the exhaust picture is not necessarily the Camaro exhaust. It is just an example. It could be MTX, or it could be any other company.

I wouldn't count on the "subs" coming with any model....they are an option and as such you will have to order and pay for them.

The BA 9 speaker system consists of:
1 in Dash center
2 in upper door
2 in lower door
2 in pillar area
2 in rear deck

well that sounds good to me. i didn't want 10's anyways. lol... i'lll wait for JL's Cleansweep to be made for it, then install my 1500wrms memphis amp for 2 12" RE Audio subs..(these are monsters...26lbs each) I need bass. big time.

*and since when is it a Bose system? i thought it was Boston Acoustics? If it was Bose, F-yeah!!

Need some help for the newbie. I've read alot of the various posts on sub options. I was just going to go for the MTX 10" subs that GMPP offers as an accessory. My dealer keeps telling me the "sub woofer is in the BA group on the 2SS model" and I keep telling him that it's an option that can be ordered from the factory/dealer installed. Does anyone know the RPO/LPO code to add to the order for the trunk mounted subs??? Trying to get my order in line before they start calling for production orders. Thanks!

DO NOT DO THIS. Well i mean do it if its right for you. Im going to however give you a few very biased reasons why you should not.

1. MTX sucks
2. the two 10s are rated at 200 RMS, which i promise you is close to nothing
3. They'll probably charge you and arm and a leg for this subpar equipment.

basically the only time i would say to do this is if youre one of those guys that doesnt like your system to knock. If you want soothing ***** bass tones then this is right for you. Otherwise I would say go aftermarket.

My personal suggestion:
2 Memphis M3 10''s. Rated at 400RMS each. a nice 800-900 watt amp and you will be bumpin.

Not to start a brand war but Ive had two memphis systems and loved them inside and out. From the look, to the resonance, and the clarity, I am a big advocate of memphis

My theory on the Dual Subwoofer package is that it will include a box that is made to fit in the trunk nicely. And if I decide I don't like how much bass they're putting out, then I can purchase whatever sub/amp combo I want, and just keep the box that GMPP designed.

But that's definately subject to change depending on the info that becomes available further down the line.

Hey me too man! I have 2 memphis amps... 1500W mono and a 300W 4channel. these amps are underrated, and push out clean power. I was lookin at the M3's too but went with RE cause they can handle a bit more...http://www.reaudio.com/ SX series.

Speaker boxes are made to fit the speakers not the other way around, the box that the stock speakers will come in are made for it. if you put more powerful speakers in that box its going to sound crappy.
