Has any changed their or know what the procedure is?

Its in the service manual. Located in front of passenger seat. Believe it requires cleaning at 100k

I live in FL and typically change them once a year in all my cars including the C6. I know on they C6 I can acccess the filter from the engine compartment. I am assuming the same? Do you happen to have the image from the service manual?

I would recommend changing your cabin filter every 10 to 15 thousands miles. Even at 10 my was very very dirty. they get dirty quick unless there is no dirt or dust where you live.

It's worth checking these say, once/year. If nothing else other than to shake out the big particles. I had one of these filters in a GTI that I owned previously and it would collect all sorts of stuff. I'd replace it once/year. Every one I've had has also been changed from the passenger footwell or behind the glove box...

Remove the window garnish panel under the hood on the right side and it will be under it.
