Front plates never look as clean as without but I just assume use the factory bracket and call it a day.

In WA it pays to be nice to the LEO - it's HIS call to ticket you for no front plates or not (as I understand it). Also since the Camaro comes from the factory without holes drilled for front plates there's a little caveat in the law regarding IF the vehicle is equipped for it.
I drive carefully, try not to attract attention, have no greater tint than came on the vehicle (I think they like to be able to see inside), and treat the Man with respect when we have dealings with one another.
So far, no plate, no problem.

Get the one on Darth-Emm's post. I have it.

Easy installation, easy removal, no holes to drill and for a front plate, it looks pretty good.

This should be the last thing to stop you or your wife from driving the car. I refuse to put one on and here in TX it's required, I'd rather eat the ticket.

LOL....it's required here and mine has been in the trunk for almost a year now. I'm plan on playing dumb if I do get pulled over for it but I do see probably 30% of the cars around here without plates.

That's definately not something that would keep me from driving my car.

Theres an easy and free method of doing this
Take you liscence plate bracket. Flip it upside down and drill 2 holes, when you do it you will see what i mean, snake zip ties through the lower grill and zip tie it on. Pad the backing of the frame around the edge so that it doesnt scrape your paint and voila. Took me 15 minutes to do it after delivery lol

What did you use for padding and how did you attatch the padding to the bracket?

Not sure what he did, but you can easily find thin foam rubber with adhesive backing and stick it to the back of the plate.

Yup or you can get rubber tubing and and cut it down the middle and wrap it around the edge of the plate frame. I put electrical tape around the edge of the frame and a few pads you would stick under the legs of a chair, the small ones. You couldnt see any of it, it looked facory mounted and after having it on for nearly 2 years, I had to take it off. No scratches to my surprise, no indenting on the bumper either.
Hope that helps

Add me to ther "me too" crowd. This worked great and was free. Drill your holes close to the two holes where the mounting screws go. Slide the first zip tie thru the hole you drilled , around a bar on the lower grill then back through the bracket hole and tighten. Repeat on other side. I also used some weather stripping with an adhesive back strip on the bottom of the bracket where it touched the paint and was good to go for about a year.

It was even better when I moved from OH to SC. SC does not require a front plate. Two quick snips to the zip ties and no more ugliness

Now get out there - spend 15 minutes and Start driving that beast!

If you ever move to a state that doesn't require front plates, then you can always have holes patched when you take off the bracket.
there are other options available....rather than make holes..some just dont want no holes up front..
