Arrow JRE Posi Mod testimonials wanted..

I'm doing a complete suspension upgrade this spring and figured what better time to do the Posi Mod from Jannetty...except Jannetty won't be the one doing it. It will be done at the performance shop that I've been taking my Camaro to. Who has done this mod to their car and how do you like it....and who did it...Jannetty, yourself, or local shop?

Being so far away I had a local shop do the mod while installing 370's from LPE and Teds billet caps. It feels like a freaking locker. I love it.

Are the billet caps part of the $199 kit? Are they required. The website description doesn't tell you exactly what the kit is.

I don't think the caps are included but don't quote me. I'm sure Ted will chime in tomorrow. He was sick at home all day so he hasn't been around.

No the billet caps are a separate part, and need to be machined to final tolerance upon installation.

As for jsharp's question, you know you need it when one tire spins during a burn out.

nope not good you will suffer the one wheel peel sooner or later....get the kit with the caps...the stock caps are a weak link and the reason gears are blowing apart...

So what is an average cost with no gear change and only the mod with caps?

Installed the JRE kit with a 3.73 gear change. IT WORKS! Be prepared for some inside tire skip on tight turns.

That doesn't sound like the kind of change I want to experience..does the modification interfere with the differential functioning properly in turns?

Bump...need more testimonials! Are there noe many owners that have done this modification?

We recommend going to a parking lot and doing figures 8's after doing the posi mod.

Once it breaks in, the skipping around turns goes away. I've driven a couple cars with the posi mod after break in and they have been perfect.
