According to various info carried on this site, production of the convertible should have started on the 10th.

Any solid evidence (IE PICTURES) of that?

I don't think your gonna get any pix outta the plant... id expect the Norman Marcus editions will come thru first, im anticipating word next week on any of us with 1/10 TPWs...

i am #1 on the list at our local Chevy dealer for a convertible. It's on the way but if 2012 will be here by summer why not wait?

I was under the impression that vert. production was "suppose" to start Jan 11th.
Also coupe production/orders will suffer (as much as 50% in FEB/MAR/APR) as well from what they've told us dealers.

My order dropped from 3400 with a TPW of 1/11 to 3000 yesterday, as the day went on, several other 3400s dropped to 3000 as well. I can only assume there's something up at the factory. Waiting to hear something from GM since I called yesterday.

My dealer said production doesn't start until Feb 3, but not sure if that is really true or just the usual runaround.

I dont think that is right cuz I have a vin for the one I ordered and my car is at 4104

I didn't think so since I saw that there have been VIN's listed on the check order status thread. Like I said, usual runaround.
