Perhaps - I think it is more so becuase he is just that kind of guy. Not flashy. We did a viper for him as well that was equally as nuts and a Gen 4 Camaro that made 570rwhp when that was unheard of - like 1998

I see that these kits don't include a boost a pump. Any reason why you decided to leave it out? Opinions on using boost a pumps with this system?

boost a pump

On their web site it says 1 MSD fuel pump control, I assume that's a msd version of a boost a pump.

the base kit does not require a fuel pump booster - the stock pump can support 600 - after that you need it. We try to include only the best parts - we are already catching heat for having the most expensive kit out there. You get what you pay for...but a lot of guys still just shop on price and that kills me

Price for twins sounds reasonable to me and Granatelli looks like a cleaner install

I am about 2-3 months from buying a TT kit and so far I am most interested in yours, but have a couple questions.

Is there room to grow as far as turbo sizes on that flange?

Do I need a boost controller to adjust boost or can I just use a hand held and run different programs to get a lower boost program such as a 3psi,5psi and 7psi?

Are there any clearance issues with the routing of the air intakes back to the front such as they bump and clank on anything under normal everyday driving?

What kind of cam do you have/suggest for these or will a blower cam or N/A cam work fine with these?

I have this kit on the way, I'm sure J.R. will answer for you soon, but if you like, I'll give you some real world customer based info in a few weeks... We are installing a F/I cam, ten lb springs, and will turn the boost up until we start to run out of fuel... Bigger injectors, dual pumps, and a BAP. All going on a stroked 427 with forged internals etc.....J.R. Guessed 765 hp at ten lbs boost. That's our starting point for boost. We can go as high as 20 with the first set of springs, but we will run out of fuel before that point...This is an LS-3 stroker motor.

There is always room to grow but this “system” was basically intended to be a 1300hp system. If your goal is to go over that then there are many changes that I could see doing.

You do not NEED a boost controller unless you want to change boost real time while driving. We supply you with all the springs to go from 5 to 15psi. Simply put, a hand held tuner will not change boost – it needs to be done with a spring change or a boost controller.

The entire kit sits above the frame rail and nothing clanks or rubs.

Here is a dyno sheet from an auto trans car we just did -

I think I would like the real time change just to tone it down on the street. I was thinking if possible to run a 3 psi spring and have a 6 psi max adjustable until I build the bottom end.
Now that I know there is no need to get larger turbos then I will be set....since I have no need for 1300+ HP.

Granatelli! Dude,...your rwhp numbers for your turbo-kit on the L99 are absolutely ridiculous!(as in sweet!!)

I'm in!

I have $12,000.00 dollars at my disposal, HOW MUCH to purchase your kit and have it installed?! PM me!!

To put out 585ish rwhp on a L99 from just the turbo kit alone is VERY IMPRESSIVE,.....no headers, no exhaust, no cai. Dude, give me the price!!!
