WTB: Stock silver interior trim panels (2SS/2LT)

'Ey guys, I'm looking for the stock silver trim panels that come standard on the 2LT/2SS with ABL. My 1SS needs some sprucing up and I can care less about the lighting, I just want to get rid of the cloth.

The trim panels need to be in like new condition.

I've researched these forums and the average price they go for is $285-$290.00 shipped. I'm willing to pay $300.00 shipped.

PM if you got what I need.

For just a little more, you could be a new, colored trim kit. Why not do that or are you just looking to save some money on used?

'Cause the add-on colored trim kit's "Switchblade Silver" is a lighter shade than the stock 2SS/2LT ones, and I don't want that. The only way to get the stock ones is by original parts, which are a freakin' fortune.

I hear ya there.

Just so you know, I'm trying to get my hands on the switchblade silver kit. Hopefully have an order placed by monday.

If you would be interested in having my stock cloth panels, strip and paint them yourself send me a PM. I'll likely ask $100 including shipping for them. I'll even throw in the instructions from the GM silver kit with them if you'd want that.

I have a set of the factory silver door panel pieces available, they are in perfect condition. I'd take $165 shipped for them.

Those look like the GM Accessories add-on "Sterling Silver" ones; those aren't the ones I'm looking for, sorry. I am looking for the factory ones that come on the 2LT/2SS. They're a darker shade of silver than the ones you have, not to mention yours don't have ABL.

These are the ones I want:

Nope, the ones offered are the indeed the factory pieces, and not the sterling silver for sure. I only know this because they were pulled out of a car that someone was upgrading from stock to accessory pieces & you can see on the back panel where the owner had to remove the stock plastic rivets. Flash & lighting can change how something looks very easily much like in the dark pictures you posted of dim lighting and no flash compared to mine that were taken at night with the use of a flash. If you want to think otherwise that's fine, but you sir are misled.

Fair enough, I'll take your word for it. You make a good point about the lighting, but why don't your's have ABL if they came from a 2SS/2LT? It should have ABL.

GM's accessory kits do not come with ABL so when 2LT/2SS owners switch from the stock silver panels to their replacement accessory Yellow, White, Red Jewel, or Sterling Silver panels they have to install their ABL onto their GM accessory trim panels. That's the main reason some members here on this site end up having to make their own custom ABL lighting for the door panels.

Ahaaaaa. And so the mystery is solved. Well, I have a potential deal pending with another member, but if it falls through I'll go ahead and give you a PM if you still haven't sold yours. Believe it or not, the GM Original Parts for the two dash pieces are pretty affordable.

I'm sorry if this is a slight hijack...but can anyone tell me if the door panel inserts are the same or different on a 2SS with black interior and a 2SS that has the grey interior. My 2SS has black interior with the door panels the OP is referring to and I want to go lighter
