Sacramento Raceway Park Test & Tune

I'm thinking of taking my Camaro out to Sacramento this coming Saturday February 5th, 2011 for the Test & Tune event.

Testing is $50 and spectator/pit pass is $10. I got there early a couple months ago and easily ran 10 times. I plan on getting there right at 10 when the gates open so I can get everything ready for the racing that goes from noon to 4pm.

Let me know if you are interested or have any questions.

Steve

I will keep you updated, it's a go as long as the catch can and the cog drive go in tonight without a hitch. I want to so the rear toe links but don't have time for an alignment and do think I want to chance that for this week.

The web site says SFI, I always use my Snell 2010. I would call to make sure but I would guess that a Snell 2000 would also be good enough. I just purchased the SFI approved race jacket that I was told to get at Infinion a couple weeks ago, you will not need that unless you are running on the bottle, turbo or supercharger.

Wish me luck today! Now to go load the drag radials, jack, tools and hit the road.

FYI, just mark the eccentrics before you disassemble and you won't need an alignment. I used painters' tape and marked a line on the eccentric directly to the tape.

Bummer, more equipment needed just to run the 1/4. Man they are getting anal. I got booted out of Sears Point (I refuse to say the "I" word!) for running a 9.98 on a 10.25 dial-in (on my Monster S4RS)... It's not like I can put on any more protective gear on a bike!!
