No, but I, and most have the Doug Thorley shorty headers. They weld up to the down pipes so no leaks that cause a cel. Ceramic coated for better flow and look fantastic!Power I would think is the same as JBA, both estimated at about 6-7 hp on top but you get more, as with exhausts, in the bottom and mid range where you can use it. You do feel some better response and if you have an exhaust and cai on already, actually make the car more quiet which I thought was odd, but after awhile as they break in get a bit louder.Sound is more clear and a bit more growl up top, again I am going by what I have done already and yours may be different. I look at it as complimenting what I have to get a nice all around setup for best torque and power and to stay legal.

I bought a used set of JBAs on here a few weeks back and sent them to JetHot to be coated this past Friday. So no help to yet but click on search and type jba headers and read what some of the other members have done with them. Dyno results as well. Scrming and his poison ivy car have great write ups for the V6 community.

My buddy has the Ceramic coated JBA's on his car and they work great. He has never had a CEL as they were installed at a shop and he picked up 9rwhp & 14rwtq over the factory manifold and saved about 12lbs.

I have the SS and I have had JBA's and they work great.

Just my o2

I saw 7 on a SS in GMHTP. V6 5-7 range on top but more bottom to mid range, like the axelbacks.

Get the Doug thorley's instead, that way you have no chance of a cel. I have the doug thorley's and am very pleased with them. Got them from Ivan at southwest speed.

Thanks for the Vine! How's the rest of the car coming along?? Love that Brembo mod for the V6ers. Gonna help a couple local guys jump on that one. Glad to see people going for it!

JBA's installed 18 months ago and just thru a CEL (P2009) after 12K miles.

Seeing the dealer tomorrow about getting them welded totally.

The flange/clamp design will fail at some point. JMO.

Okay. So I bought some ceramic coated Doug Thorley Shorties for my car. I'm having them installed sometime next week. So all of you are saying if they are welded on, they won't throw a code? I'm having the hardest time finding a place that has the ability to tune the car thus, the reason I'm asking. The one guy that does Trifecta in my area wants $275 to come and tune the car. If I don't "have" to, I don't want to. Any suggestions? Is there any product out there I can buy and do the tune myself?
