No marker lights come on with the parking lights.

If you want them on whenever the car is on you can draw ignition power to do so. The easiest way to get ignition power is from the fuse box on the driver side dash board.

You can pop through the firewall grommet and use a fuse tap to get your 12V

Since you already came through the firewall you may as well throw in a switch.

1) First locate the fuse panel cover

.

.

.
2) Then remove the fuse box cover

.

.

.

3) In this case we are going to tap our power off of the fuse box to power our switch:

.

.

.
4) Switch Location
You can mount the switch wherever you wish, we chose to put it on the driver right side kick panel near the console.
This way it is out of sight but easily accessible to the driver.

THANKS! I will try working this out when I get the time, nice to know what to do though! So to do this without the switch, I would basically just tap into the fuse box with the fuse tap and that's it?

BTW, I bought the footwells from you guys also (oem light tube matching) and I have to say I'm very happy with how it turned out Great Job!

There is a second way to do it on non RS cars, You take a 2 Channel 5 Blade Relay and Pigtail and wire it up so the the DRL is powered buy the +open and the head light is on the + closed, Use the running light to close the the Relay and your head light come on at night and your DRL is the Halo's.

I am just starting wiring and electronic stuff, so I hardly understand what you just said, let alone would be able to act on it! LOL But I do have a friend who is much better than I so maybe he can help me, I'll save what you wrote for future reference Thanks!

Be prepared to be pulled over .., I have been stopped countless times and the officer always walks up and says " what's up with the red lights on the front of your car , are you a LEO?" I say they are amber and yes actually I am a LEO. they usually argue with me about how they " look red" and they it's a good thing I'm a LEO blah blah .., I actually had an officer in Mississippi try to write me a ticket for red lights .. until I asked for his supervisor then he told me I better not have them fancy red lights on in his city again ..lmao. the next morning I filed a harassment complaint and he never bothered me again . I was pulled over just Sunday night in Florida for my " red lights " he kept saying that they are almost red... he finally just told me to have a good night and left .

Hey I am just curious . Do the amber plasma halos look a little yellow compared to the amber led halos ? I had ordered some amber plasma fog halos to match my headlight halos when water got into my fog burning the led fog halo out , they looked really bright yellow compared to my amber headlight halos . I have since just ordered the amber led fogs and installed them . But still have the plasma ones sitting around .
