I sure hope so. I should know for sure tomorrow.
When will the dealers actually get to place their order in the system?

I am envious. Sounds like you are in great shape, #1 out 12, and your dealer emailing and keeping you informed like that. I was stoked to get moved up 1 in line today, and get a phone call from my dealer, you should feel pretty good about things. At least I would. GL

I do feel good and would never speak badly of my dealer because of how well they have treated me, but it isn't like them to not email me on such a big day.

I can only assume that my salesman was off or sick today. He must have emailed me 5-6 times this week. Once specifically to let me know I am the number one spot and that all their priority numbers have been racked and stacked accordingly.

I feel confident that I'll know tomorrow.

I'm number 1 at my dealership but they were only allocated 2 cars. . . Small dealership that doesn't really keep up on the Camaro end. . .

What should I say to them so they could check how many, if any they will get to submit next month. . .

Also, since I have you here. . . what will happen if my dealership just sits that expecting GM to grab my order. . . is that all they have to do? Or do they physically need to submit my order again?

I dont think the any orders were picked up yesterday, it was only the
consensus that tells them what and how many they can order.
next month(I think) is when the dealers will submit the orders they
have. if your #1 then yours will probably get submitted next month.

This is the way I understood it anyway...Anybody have something to add??

The concensus Friday was for March only - 2 weeks. It's likely a dealer with a small number of total allocations, maybe 10 or less, may have gotten 0 cars. But it is only two weeks, so it's not that much of a delay.

EDIT: franknbeans, I believe the dealer can find his concensus number in Dealerworld, an online app. only he has access to.

My dealer said this consensus covered thru mid-April. Maybe he is an *idiot*, but he has been pretty on top of things up til now. I hope you are right, because he only got one car in this consensus and I am #2 (out of 10 allocated and 8 sold)!

Who is your dealer. How far are you from Melbourne Beach?

I'm in the exact situation. I hope it pans out that way.
