I have EFILive and was wondering if anyone sells eng/trans tunes for the 2011 L99?

Can a tranny tune be loaded into an SCT tuner and put in a car without changing the engine tune?

Give a call to my friends at East Coast superchargers and tell them Phil sent you. They use EFI and do Mail order tunes for $149.00

If you look at my website, I have a tuning option for just a transmission tune. Its more than just transmission because several option on the engine side come into play when tuning the tranny.

The hard part to gauge is knock retard and knock burst on the A6s so it better to have the car in front of you.

I think what PQ is getting at, is if you tune the tranny TCM only, then the ECM will not be tuned and warranty issues are avoided. At least for the engine anyway.

Is this possible?

That's a good idea but PQ's car is supercharged and dyno tuned. So, he's more concerned about leaving the ECM alone and only tuning the transmission.

My warranty was lost a long time ago.

I just was wanting to get my tranny tuned in an e-mail tune, and load it to the car without negotiating my dynotune. My dynotune is not in my SCT tuner. I'd have to be able to get the TCU tune and load it without changing the ECU tune AT ALL. I don't even have a copy of my tune.

I was under the impression that EFI has it's own box that they sell and if someone has the EFI live software for tuning they can send you a tune, is this correct. My car is tuned using EFI Live and have been wondering the same thing, especially if I have to have updates from GM and need to re-install the tune instead of having to take my car 3 hours back to the tuner it would be nice to re-intsall the tune. Anyone???

EFILive sells the Autocal device. It can upload/download tunes and log scans too. Since you get the EFILive software, you can look at your tune but you can't change it. You have to buy this from your tuner since it is linked to his EFILive programing device, i.e., you can only upload his tunes. About $300. I got all this from the EFILive website so check it out.
