That 6.4 hemi is NO joke. I love my camaro, but i would never even compare it stock vs. stock, even with the weight disadvantage. Also, for those who say it will not make the advertised hp numbers, i have yet to see any of these current engines make less than advertised numbers. If they say 480, it would'nt surprise me one bit if it was closer to 500. The camaro does win in the dollar dept., as the challengers are just too expensive to compete in the same market.

The 6.4 is not underrated. As the top trim of their line-up there is no reason to underrate. It is what it is.
But I'm not scared. It matches or marginally exceeds the SS in most published times. Still, that 8-speed has been a long way coming and I'm sure it will further improve the Challenger's times. |

I seem to recall many mods were coming. Something about 700 hp? Still coming out to AZ?

Yeh, the SRT8 Charger is on a couple year hiatus. They are all but confirmed for the 2012 model year with the 392, which will be a beast. Jury is still out on whether it will get a manual transmission, or the Merc 8 speed auto, or the existing Merc 5 speed auto.
