Hey. I removed the front emblem from my SS. I cant remember if i took out the part behind the grill, if i did i dont remember what i did with it. Anyone have a picture of what it looks like?

Maybe i can find it if i know what it looks like, hope i didnt toss it in the trash

I still have the emblem. but doesnt it hook into something thats sitting behind the grill?

I do not think there are any other brackets. Should just clip into the grill.

i thought there was a floating part back there that was wedged in. maybe i am wrong, i just thought i lost something because i couldnt get the emblem to stay in again

There is another piece that it clips into that is not part of the grille.

i want to believe i stuck my hand through the grill by the bowtie and pulled that thing out. Just have no clue what the F i did with it. If one were to take just the emblem out and leave that part in there could it work itself out? i couldnt see it down in the inside of the bumper.
