Not really...it was more of GM attempting to put more focus back on the individual brands rather than the company as a whole.

I had them on mine and my vin is 47078. Built in Sept. 2010. Took them off the day I got it!!!

Both meaning chicklets and backup sensors. If your car was built in April, you don't have the sensors.

I would say yes, but at that time my father was the market area manager for the west half of the US including Hawaii and was there when they made that decision. That may of been the official statement but GM felt pushed to stop putting them on vehicles because of negative feedback from end users.

Mine didn't have them...but I still got the GM Performance Division badge under the hood. I understand they dropped that aswell.

Does anyone make vinyl overlays for the chicklets? I want to keep mine on, but just done want them to stand out so much. I have vinyl on the Camaro lettering and love the look, and I've already checked with the company I got those letters from with no luck....
