Quick Input Needed

We are heading out on vacation just the wife and I. We are going to Vero Beach Florida to the Disney Resort. The Bee has only been on two road trips, the Camaro Fest 3 hours away last year and to Space Camp to pick up Zac from there last summer. 5 hours away that was.

I am just kind of nervous taking her out of her enviroment, you know highway driving and leaving it in a hotel parking lot for 5 days. What would you guys do? We are leaving in 3 hours so wanted some quick input. Was not planning on taking her but wife brought it up last night around midnight.

Thanks ahead of time.

Scott

Cars are meant to drive not look at. You already got battle scares on it anyhow so why not.

I took my Camaro to Florida and the camarofest last Spring. Don't look for the cheapest motels. Stay in better places to help keep the rifraf away. Also, ask for a room with a view of the parking lot where you can keep an eye on your car. You will enjoy the highway driving. This car is one of the best parts of any trip- I know it was for me.

Ok the Bee is staying home. Wife will not drive her and said she would let me take her but she would be uncomfortable for a 7 hour drive in her.

So we are taking our beater mobile. Funny how a 2006 Acura RL is considered our beater mobile. Must be the glory of sitting next to #230 in the garage.

Take the car!!! Drive it, that's why you bought it. Just like your kids, do your best to protect it but you can't protect them from everything. I'm sure it will be fine.

We took our Camaro on a 14 hour road trip last year and everyone was more than comfortable. We had a great time driving the car even though 90% of travel was on secondary roads (rocks in windsheild roads) but all was well and we had it parked on and off for a week with nothing but good time!

Take the car!!! Dont listen to your wife...take the car, leave her at home!

I vote you take it and ENJOY!
