Hey now... As a native Texan.. I resemble that trailer park comment..

All kidding aside... It's not just the people at the lower end of the economy that sell drugs, steal, murder and overall contribute to the degeneration of this country.. There are plenty of "upper class" people doing just that over in D.C. and Wall Street. I agree with the sadness on the racism and stereotyping going on here..

Point is we dont know how people can get cars. I think a person that works hard does sure as hell deserve one, farmer or not lol deserving one and ability to get one are different. Lets not judge people, if they have the money why not get it?
I am it doesn't matter if they earned it or not it how they act with it. I know someone they worked there whole life saving to get a nice car. He definitely deserves it but I have no respect for him, because he doesn't know how to respect rules, people, and almost crashed it after a week. Another guy I know getting his car for free from his parents he definitely not going to do anything stupid with it and knows how to care of it. I have respect for him. I could care less of how people obtain things I only care if they treat it well, and know how to be responsible

Who deserves

For my first post on this forum:

If you can make the payments you deserve it. If having a sweet car and nothing else is what you want, then thats your decision. I think the Camaros look sweet with 30" rims but also think they are amazing machines when built for power or made to look like "sleepers". Who cares!

I just feel blessed to be given the opportunity to call my SS !MINE!
The car is an attention getter one way or another - its your decision.

Hi Haters.

That's some over the top "liberal" thinking right there ... and that's coming from a Californian who votes democrat.
^^^ now that does sound like something a democrat would say who has not been to college and doesn't have much of an education

If that farmer had worked hard and was able to pay for it, I would they deserved it. Are you married? im gonna go out on a limb here say that you might be. If so, im gonna go out on another limb and she probably works and again if so then your cars are 50/50 ownership....now if your able to keep up with this then you should see where im going with this...ready...here we go...in retrospect you pay for half of that car.....so do you deserve that car? could you afford that car and all its bell and whistles with out your wifes income and the insurance?

This thread is displaying ignorance of titanic proportions. Cripes people! I am embarrassed for you by some of the posts that I just read. Are these kinds of threads where people seem to feel a need to pontificate, judge and criticize becoming more and more common around here lately...or is it just me?

I was first attracted to this forum by the idea of people sharing a common and mutual passion for the 5th Gen Camaro. If we can develop a little camaraderie in addition to it all, that's a good thing, but I am not interested in your politics, religion, social commentary and I certainly am not interested in being exposed to bigotry and narrow mindedness.

I guess its the sign of our culture with the Internet and the social media phenomena, i.e., Facebook, Twitter, etc. Places where we think that somehow others are interested in our opinions, even if sometimes those opinions are expressed with a lack politeness, civility and respect.

Yes, this person is probably poorer than your average person being in what looks to be a duplex/apartment/townhome neighborhood. But really? You think she is a prostitute? Why can't she be a factory worker living with roommates? You don't think somebody making 40k a year and paying $400/mo on rent could afford 28" rims and a V6 Camaro? give me a break. If I lived in my apartment still. I could easily afford the payments on a Porsche 911 Turbo. Heck maybe even a slightly used Ferarri. But you know what, I had different priorities. I had friends in college with fast and expensive cars that they spent half their paycheck on every month. Some people really like their cars and they are status symbols. To instantly judge somebody so harshly with derogatory generalizations is completely unacceptable. You don't like the car, fine, but to call the woman a prostitute, or the "man" a drug dealer is so hateful that it borders on insanity.

lol i never knew this thread would attract ignorance to this level..i never said anything about them not DESERVING (poorly chosen word on my part) a camaro because of how they may have earned money...i just didnt like the southside style of rims they chose to put on a muscle car..personally no matter what taste you have or HOW you got the money..dont ruin the title or look of an amazing car.

To say some one is a drug dealer or a thief because they have big rims is the dumbest shit ive ever heard and makes you look like a moron. If your offended so am I.

I don't get how every other day a thread like this pops up, yet one guy says he don't like the convertible camaro and the thread gets closed
Because it's not constructive. How is this any different.

Some of you need to get over the fact that not everyone has the same taste as you. Some people like big rims, don't make them a drug dealer. Some people like led lights everywhere and fake carbon fiber on anything they can think of. So what. If you don't like it, then you don't like it. But making blanket judgements against a group of people because you don't like there style is just plain stupid.
I agree whole heartedly
