Who would win in a drag race ?

The 2012 TL gets a new 6-speed automatic, the 6-speed manual is still optional. The hideous beak is gone and replaced with a sheen and sleak looking inlet with the Acura emblem, thankfully, with several other cosmetic tweaks. No one has tested the 6-speed auto TL yet, the 5-speed is discontinued.

The Acura. But not by a whole lot. Their gears are better than ours. And that car has some serious get up and go. My mother has one... I'm always looking for ways to take her down.

The awd kills it. Dont listen to anyone saying you wouldnt win, the Camaro will definitely take it.

I raced one of the new ones on a road course, he started out before me. my car is bone stock and flat out on a straight away I passed him very easily.

Agreed....the Acura might pull away in a drag, but once the speed climbs the Camaro should pull.

Agreed, but ONLY on the AWD. They are very slow and heavy. On the other hand the FWD TLs have been VERY solid (low 14s and I believe even a few high 13 passes) since the 2004 (I believe) model.

Yeah, but only with the 3.5 280-hp V6. Oddly enough the older 5-speed auto FWD 3.5 auto is faster than the <2011 5-speed auto AWD 3.7, the FWD was auto only.

Not sure abou the specs, but I have a friend who has one and stop light to stoplight, the camaro took it....dont ask how I know, I read it somewhere.....

if it is a manual transmision just add gears. V6 or V8 both cars benifit greatly from them. With gears you wont have any problems
