They will of course be built by the lowest bidder! Lol Most of the GMPP parts are built by a variety of aftermarket sources. These guy's almost always make them different than thier own aftermarket kits. I personally know magnaflow has made some of the GMPP kits and they sounded different and were a lot cheaper than the official magnaflow kit. A vendor has to run a buisness and make a profit to justify it's existance.

All that said I'll be going the corsa route again and anyone wanting a catback for power needs to rethink things.

Robin, I would like to appologize for some of the responses you got. Uncalled for here and we are honored to have your input. Some of us need to be more thoughtful of who we are speeking to here before we post.

That's pretty brash to apologize for other people...especially considering Robins response. I too thought it was a bit curt and dismissive...regardless of who it came from. We are the customers, and it is our money that is being spent...why wouldn't we care?

When it comes to exhaust...it can be very personal...Borla is know for it's distinctive sound...

Previously I had not considered the GMPP exhaust...but if it's Borla it'll find it's way back into the running.

Robin- I read your subsequent emails and see that your tone was not intended...so I don't direct any frustration at you. Sometimes it's hard to communicate tone in text...and we all appeared to take your text at 'face' value, sans tone.

I didn't single anyone out so please don't be offended. However, I've spoke to Robin here on several occasions and know him to be anything but rude. Furthermore I think it is a privilege to come here and speak with great people like Robin, Scott, John and the other loyalist at GM. Robin has nothing to sell us, and our frustrations and strong anticipation for this car should not be taken out on him. What a loss it would be to lose such a valuable resource such as Robin because someone didn't know. Yes I was "brash," but to be completely honest I was also embarrassed at some of the post that followed his. Just to be clear, I think the OP's question was entirely valid and that Robin was simply misunderstood.
