deserved a sick girl? I thought every other year was hard to get a date on v-day..... but this year I'm running a temp of 102.5 (as of 30 minutes ago.... its been up and down).... nose is running, can't eat, barely move and coughing up all kinds of lovely stuff..... REAL appealing.

One of the guys I used to help out was this old Italian Fella who owned a jewelry store. Every year right before Christmas he'd break up with his lady friend and not patch things back up with her until after Valentine's Day. (I think her birthday fell in that time frame too.) I used to get after him about that, but he didn't care. All he'd tell me was to look at all the money he ended up saving! He was a Good guy, God rest his soul!

He was an old widower who didn't want to get married again. It was just his way of pulling away / not letting himself get too close. His wife had been dead for a long time, but she was the only woman he ever really loved.

ahhhh...... well, for the first time ever.... I finally get what I want for v-day.... spend the day in bed . Just not the way I was hoping for . I've been through 4 boxes of tissues since friday evening

so much for that $30 flu shot..... and I got a sinus infection and a bit on pneumonia (I think). I had a near fatal case of pneumonia my senior year of HS, this feels really familiar

well, last time I spent a month beforehand with the flu laying down.... worst thing for pneumonia... I've been sitting up all the time and its not really bad til late at night.... during the day my fever about goes away... but at night it hits the roof, I get hot, cold.... cough up everything between my head and toes.... ain't fun, thats for sure!

with any luck..... I won't be awake in the morning . I've slept most of the day, but at night the cough gets bad and keeps me up.... don't plan on doing too much.... feeling pretty weak now, think I'm gonna crawl back to bed.... might check back later if I can't sleep.
