I'm just hoping that we get that rain this week to clean some of the salt off the roads. A nice cruise this weekend would be nice.

Mother nature has 2 weeks to get that salt washed away... my car goes in the shop on the 28th.

Hey guys, won't make it over for 27th. I got signed up for the CICC bowling against the Firebird club that day. I told them I was really bad, maybe this is like bowling for smucks.

Don't feel bad buddy... I bowled (or tried at least) this past weekend... not pretty. We will leave it at that. At least I beat Kris! LOL!

As far as the 27th, thats cool plus I know its a haul for you guys. I will let you know our schedule so we can coordinate. Hope you guys can make the next mod day. Its going to be much less work and much more social... and a drive.

Grrrr...

First off, to set the scene, my wife is amazing! She was thrilled to get the Camaro, wanted the SS and loves to drive it. She was game for the exhaust and intake and now i want more. She loves car shows and loves to talk to me about cars.

That being said, she keeps talking about getting more for the Camaro and saying "lets look at that... i was thinking about getting this" which gets me excited so i look everything up and lay it out for her. Then... she never says "go for it" because she sees a price. "I really want it" she says but I never get the approval. So then I look bad on here for saying Im in the market and never get anything and I keep changing what I want, which is a lot but Im willing to cut it down a little, to try to see what she will let me get and Im getting no where... Still just the intake and exhaust on her. Im getting aggravated with the push and pull...

OK... sorry for the rant. I just want people to know Im bothered and hear that others may be in the same boat. I want more power and I want it yesterday!

Its OK man... I am the same way... I want a heritage grille... she wants to paint the bathroom... We now have a nice green bathroom and I have a stock grille... so I mention the grille again. She flat out says... if you put that on, I am not riding in it... Threat or promise??

I better not test!

Looks like there is not heritage grille in my future!

With all that said, my wife is great.

She deals with my addiction very well and actually also really likes the car. She has been pro all my modifications to date. Can't sell her on that damn grille though!

LOL... Well I'm already pretty maxed out on the "cheap" mods! I've done intake, exhaust and tune. Got springs, sways, a few bushings, toe bars and trailing arms. Just did the whole brake system. Added the Hurts shifter...

I'm looking into the strutt tower brace, maybe a UD pulley and I still want that grille!

Out of the question items I can dream about... 4.11 gears (I'd try again maybe

), cam, rear cradle bushings and a supercharger...

she likes it look stock... With the springs and red calipers I'm getting away from that and sure doesn't sound stock!

I think she just honestly doesn't like the grille at all. I also want to do black bowties with a red outline or red inside with the chrome outside like the SS is and she nixed that too. She likes the gold bow ties... Oh well.

Wow, sounds frustrating! Here's my solution, just tell her it's a new "cold air intake", it's kinda true. Oh, and don't let her see the credit card bill.

Actually, I make the car decisions, she makes the decisions on everything else. She asked what I wanted for Valentines, I told her a certificate for a two day Hi-Perf. school up at Mid Ohio. I ended up with a six pack of beer!

(Not that I didn't like the beer)

I sure hope they put together another Camaro Track Day up there again (Mid Ohio). I'd do that again in a heartbeat!
