Already thinking of SS...
As you know I just bought my 2011 2Lt/RS about 2 weeks ago.. ive been pondering the thought of trading it back in for an SS.. Not to say i will but IF i did..
Does anyone know how I would go about doing it? What they would give me back for my LT? hypothetically...of course

I haven't went through that but have heard of others who have...it wouldn't hurt to ask your dealer...but I bet a used SS wouldnt be as bad

Don't you have a 30 day grace period by law? You might ask but I think the sooner the better.
Even if you took say a $3k hit.....if you're already thinking about it you'll be sorry for years that you didn't jump on it. If you did trade it then you'll be having way more fun over the next several years instead of saying....would'a, could'a, should'a

30 day grace period? Only if they had that promotion going when purchased. Once the papers are signed they don't need to return or trade unless there is a warranty or lemon law issue. When I bought mine they had the 30 day test drive promotion, which I refused and they gave me $500 off price.
Now I am not sure if there is a state specific law there in Florida, but you could call the dealer. The sooner the better.

You might want to check on it. I ended up okay as I just traded in my 2LT/RS a week ago for a 1SS. I had put 7k down on it and had it for 11 months. I didn't get screwed because of that. They only gave me 21k for my 2LT/RS with 11k miles. It sure was worth the trade though. The v6 just isn't enough for me with such a heavy car.

I've never heard of a grace period once you sign? But maybe someone from Florida who knows will chime in?
There was this: http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/...uarantee_N.htm but I believe it ended? And I heard there was a lot of fine print with that..... Have you driven an SS? You may not want to if you want to save money because I know what you will decide..... Your best bet, I have a feeling, is just be honest with the dealer and see what they can do for you...most dealers realize they need repeat customers...
