it's gonna be right at the gt500 price...if it's a little faster when they are done with testing...it will be a little more...if it's a lot faster....well it will be... well even more...it's all relative...to how the final testing proves and specs out...IMHO...

10-12k more over SS seems reasonable. Considering what the GT500 sells for, I dont see why this would come in way under OR way over that price. That just seems reasonable.
And this car wasnt made to sell to everyone. The everyday guy can still buy a base SS or v6 version. Now I need to figure out the winning lotto numbers so I can get a ZL1, GT500, and 2012SRT8 Charger ...need one 4 door in the line-up

Add a few options and a 2011 2SS convertible is only a few thousand shy from $47K, so there's no way the ZL1 will be in the same range. A base C6 (and possibly Grand Sport) will be more affordable, but those Vette's mentioned do not put down the insane horsepower of the ZL1. I'm thinking around $55K-$60K.

I'm expecting the "well optioned" pricing to be comparable to what SLP's ZL1s are going for now. Around 56k. Won't be getting another Zeta platformed Camaro, so I have a few years to save up. Don't want to rain on anyones parade, but I hope GM holds off on the Z/28 till it's on the Alpha platform, and sports a D.I. 302ci.

uhmmmmm.............The SLP ZL1 is twice the price you mention.......they are only building 69 of them to honor the original 69 units built in 1969....... The ZL series may be in the 50s - but their ZL1 is over 100K......... And before anyone jumps to conclusions - NO -- our car will not be anywhere NEAR 100K!!!! (I say that only because of the wide swath of conjecture.....)

You already own the top-dog 4th gen, might as well have the ZL1 to match.

Oh yea. By bad. I meant ZL585. I had just listened to the other post of the ZL1 rev'ing and am having trouble thinking about anything else.
