Hello everyone,
Well I am looking for a Camaro 2ss/rs here in arizona blk on blk. I recieved an email and will be visiting a dealership on friday so i just wanted to do a little research before i go. The car vin is 2G1FK1EJ9B9153862 and the website price is $38,725 but when i recieved the email it said "your price 36,700". I dont know if they put that to get me excited or what haha...I'm pretty sure its rebates that drop the price. The only thing the car doesn't have it the Ground effects package which i would really like and want. If i do get the ground effect package how much would the dealership charge for it and also to color match the package to the car or is that even an option. I guess what i want to know is if this is a good price for the car and what will the dealership try to add on to the price. Also what should i not pay for or try to get them to drop. Thanks for the help... |

You don't state what year the vehicle is. This could be the difference in the price. There are some incentives now on the 2010s and also a customer loyalty offer of 1K thru the end of February. In terms of the ground affects, they are a dealer installed option anyway. You can add them at any time. I got a quote of 875 to paint a set to match.

It's a 2011, and it doesn't have a sunroof either if that matters. The invoice price is $37681, so if you're eligible for the $1000 loyalty, then $36700 is a good deal. If you are a member of a credit union, you could save about $200 more, as the preferred price is $37509.54, minus the loyalty, would be $36509.54 plus taxes and dealer fees.

Seems like a sweet deal for a new 2011! There are still people paying MSRP on coupes.

You might want to ask BeckyD@RodgersChevrolet for a quote just to see if it's a good price.
