So, in the end, it is just a big mystery why the yellow Corvette owner has such lic plate on his car. But I conclude that the OP is envious of the yellow Corvette.

pretty sure they had a bumble bee edition charger out before the camaro was even released.

I don't know if it was a stock package or what because I don't follow chargers but he had it painted on there.

The abbreviation Bmble may actually be for BIMBLE and BEA for Beatrice. The color yellow purely a coincidence.

Lol not at all. It wasn't old enough or old enough for me to envy it. I'm not a fan of the body style he had.

And I just started the thread because I found it amusing that his plate said Bumble Bee when most people my age associate it with a yellow Camaro, not a Corvette.

Not so oddly.....most people reading the post, don't associate Bumble Bee foremost with yellow 5th generation Camaro's. We may also conclude that most readers of the post are old enough to read.

Stick with us friend. Amusingly the verbage Bumble Bee was sans any connection
to Camaro's or any Chevy Product until the release of the Transformer Movie.
The recognized term Bumble Bee was used in the muscle car world long ago and was
tagged to several variants of Mopar products, introduced simply as tailstripes.............no connection to the color of the car at all.........thats all.
