I've noticed since I've had my car that when I'm in first gear, and have to disengage the clutch quickly, I hear this flapping noise, like a plate is loose or something. Is this normal and has anyone else experienced this? My car is a v6.

I know what youre talking about, Ive heard its normal and that its slack in the driveline or something like that.

Unfortunately this is a common thing with these M6 Camaro's. My dealer said it is "normal". Do a search for clutch rattle.

also quite common with the SS as well. GM says normal I think It sucks I wish I knew of a replacement that worked I would buy it.

haha yeahh it's kinda embarassing, especially when im slowly cruising in a parking lot, and somebody pops in front of me out of nowhere, i have to brake and step on the clutch and it makes this weird flapping noise =/
