Ran into another who has met you, Vince and is wife + one really cute son.

Seems you are getting famous in the Southwest Diana.

I DON'T WANT TO BELONG TO ANY CLUB THAT WILL ACCEPT ME AS A MEMBER.

That sentiment is one I have shared over the years with very few exceptions. I knew there was a larger reason this thread stays together. Exactly how an online forum becomes a community and moves ever closer to a brotherhood has to be people with more than a shared interest. It appears to be shared dreams and shared values. Thank you for allowing me to be part of the LPE Brotherhood.

Wow those Camaros look good together! What all have yoou done with your '69?
My '69 is blue as well, had I known what the Aqua Blue would have looked like in advance I would have probably ordered one.
I am going to break down and build a Shop/Garage/Man Cave this summer. I have done 100% of the work on my '69 myself, and need to finish it up.

Actually the guy I bought it from was a mechanic, and had it done up pretty nice. He set it up for the drag strip, then only put 300 miles on it since the restoration. All I've done so far is change the seats to mini cooper adjustable seats so RS and I can both drive (Yes we are sharing

), and I put spacers on the pedals to bring them further forward, I also put in power brakes, and Hoosier tires.

I'd like to take it to the strip this summer to see what she can do. The engine dynoed at 577HP. Then future plans might include fuel injection, and possibly a 4 link, we'll see.....

We're working on a new garage with an attached home also.

Working on cars is one of my passions, I wish I had more time to do it. I am building my shop by the plant so I can sneak off for some wrench time.

Tell me more about that engine, NA big block I would guess.

No, it's actually a Borello Race Engines built 413 cubic inch Small block, compression ratio 10.5:1 with a Callies crank, Carillo rods, JE pistons, Comp Cams custom solid roller, Crower rockers, AFR CNC ported 220 amuminum heads, Edelbrock Super Victor intake, and Demon 775RS carburetor. The 1st pic is when I bought it, and the 2nd one is after the brake install.

I spent all day Yesterday driving around in a new 'Vette..

Brought the wife's car to the dealer to get a part changed under warranty.

Dealer threw me the keys and said "see you in a couple of hours"... no need to tell me twice... I'm GONE!

I brought it home.. Wife looked at me like I had 2 heads. Her comment was "it's nice, but when are you going to get one I can drive (Automatic)? Go have fun.."

Now I really want to add one to the stable.... Sigh... It's gonna have to wait a little longer, I'm afraid.:(

Hey carefull I am afraid my shop will cost more than house.

Once you go down that road the "might as wells" and " Oh what the Heck's" will get you everytime.

Take a look at some of these, you have to hunt around to find the monsters, but wow!!
