Were there the same online tracking tools for the coupes a few yrs ago? That's my biggest gripe- seeing production status go up on day, then back down the next... repeatedly and without explanation (or return calls from GM cust service.) I think ibcan.speak for all waiting when I say we obviously want quality product, we'd just like a little information sharing in the process...

Each dealership is limited on the number of new models they can special order based on their typical sales performance (which usually corresponds to the population of the area). They may get other camaros in that they didn't order, but that means you get what they got on hand. Your dealer may get more allocations later if production and sales are better than expected.

Found out today that the order for my convertible has been accepted for production! Only a matter of time now!

Thanks that was helpful to know im going to do as the kids say and fall back(wait) its snowing in philly and i dont really need it until May when i hit the road
