ABM was/is my favorite color, followed quite closely by SGM. Both really pop on the Camaro.

Aqua Blue is done. It unfortunately did not sell enough to justify its existence. And Chevy/the plant won't do a limited run of a single color for any amount of people...let alone an insignificant six.

Now...maybe there was a misunderstanding at some point? Maybe he was talking about repainting the cars for you six whenever he takes delivery??

What you posted (if that's what he was trying to say) is simply out of the question.:(
I would follow Dragoneye's advise and find another dealer because I do not believe that the one that you are dealing with is as knowledgeable as he thinks he is. I hope that there is a new blue color for the ZL1, Marina Blue. Jet Stream Blue or Super Sonic Blue as a few examples but I do not think that Aqua Blue will make a come back in the near future.

If I would have seen Aqua Blue before I ordered my Inferno orange, I would have gotten it instead. But, it's GM and thier marketing sucks.

Thank you for clarify my post. This is exactly what i ment when i said everyone was just getting around to seeing the color and BAM out of no where GM said it will be discontinued. ABM was misrepresented. Now that its gone and lots of people have had a chance to see it they wish they had gotten ABM.

Well, confirmed with GM they do special runs for six or more, however, it is a fleet order so all six need to be ordered in same order and delivered in same order so everyone who said it was far fetched or badly mistaken are mistaken themselves. As I said I was looking for interest not looking for your opinions. Thanks anyway.

ABM did look amazing in person, and it looked like trash in gm's photos.

You probably also have to have a business license to create a "fleet order" through GM.

I'm also not entirely sure what regulations and/or laws dictate how a fleet vehicle can be resold...

I also believe the minumum order of 6 for a fleet applies to colors currently in the GM pallette and maybe a few stock colors. Not just any color you dream up.

If you want a complete custom color, like Neiman Marcus did, it's an entirely different matter...

Don't get me wrong, I thought it was a wonderful color. I posted pics some time ago of a great ABM LS. And as I recall at the time, that was the rarest combination built. Lowest running model (LS) and lowest running color.

GM will constantly rotate colors. And keep in mind when multiple cars go through the same paint booths, you have to evaluate the color volume for two or more models, not just one. Me, I'm surprised by where Yellow came in in the latest color penetrations.

But please understand GM will constantly rotate colors in and out of the pallette and if you are even just a low runner that color is at risk.

And I genuinely feel bad your favorite is gone. I just hope that your second favorite wasn't so far behind that you don't like the car anymore.

Oh, you only think you didn't ask for opinions. I've seen threads that started, "I don't want your opinions" and that just gets you more opinions. LOL

As I said, you can get Mary Kay Pink on several cars and I don't think Pink is a standard GM color. But yes, GM will paint commercial vehicles for municipalities and agencies, so anything is possible. Just depends on the price.

Go to the Oshawa Open House in June and see the batch colors they run down the line. It's not usually one or two in a row.

I said I understand why they canceled it, never said I didn't get one before they actually did it
