Interested in a group buy effort (painted black). Please PM a price to 85041. One question, I've tried to find photos of the "smoked" lenses to see the difference. Any photos of the smoked lenses on a black car?
Mark

I love these! Nice job Show Stoppers! I like how the LED strip is at the top of the lens. It appears there is a long lead time on these, can you give me an estimated wait time? How about that group buy? Can we get it started so we can get it done?

This why I need to have these lights in an OEM version with LEDs. It makes no difference how bright they. Yes they need to be illuminated under dark or night time conditions but they also are required to be reflective. They wouldn't pass here in Indiana I could write an equipment violation for it. If anyone has them in a stock reflective like OEM with LEDs, let me know, I'm all over them but until then I pass. Look good though! Side marker lamps became required for large trucks and buses on January 1, 1968, and on January 1, 1969, for all other vehicles. These small lamps are illuminated when the headlights are on and serve as reflectors at other times. The side marker lamps enhance conspicuity such that the would-be-impacting vehicle can take evasive maneuvers. Prior to their introduction, vehicles had no side illumination. A NHTSA analysis7 found that side marker lamps result in a 16-percent reduction in nighttime, side-angle collisions. The effectiveness was slightly higher in accidents with personal injury, at 21 percent, although no fatality-reduction benefit was evident. I'm sure Showstopper could fabricate what you wanted if you asked him.

Has anyone thought about a way to remove the bottom seam of the sidemarkers, now that the concept led strip is at the top? Would bondo/painting the seam be the only way to do this? It would give it a very nice look, but it might sound like the work is too much for such little reward. Thoughts?
