Anyone take any pics? I always take the camera and then it sits in my pocket cause I have too much fun talking and looking at other things. I know there were a LOT of cameras out there though, lol.

I had my battery charged on my camera and again forgot to bring it. Definately had a great turnout of camaros at this event. Alot of 5th gen camaros.

Got my Brembo Rotors installed on friday for the show, but my calipers are really faded. Gotta decide what color to repaint them. Probably dark gray to match my stripes.

Now gotta work on the wheel hop issue.

Pedders rear cradle inserts, rear diff bushings; BMR trailing arm & outer bushing, toe rod arms eliminated wheel hop.

Was making low 400 HP/TQ with CAI/exhaust and no wheel hop with only Pedders bushings. Added BMR arms and arm bushings and tire just spins. Rear is pretty solid now. Tried a quick burnout with the supercharger and no wheel hop.

hey guys quick question for those that go through the pearl harbor navy entrance. how strict are they when it comes to safety checks and any illegal modifications to your car? reason i ask this is, is because i have to go there tomorrow but my camaro has blacked out taillights and side markers, as well as illegal tint. oh yeah, no front liscense plate either. should i be good to go as long as i've got a safety check and registration or should i just take a different car? Thanks guys.

if you are getting a visitor pass they don't look at the car, as long as your paperwork is in order, you'll be fine. i have 15% on my windows and i have no problems at the gate, the guards want to check out the car when i come to work in the morning.

Thanks! I'll upgrade after my trip to Fiji in April. After that, guess I have to start loading up on replacement tires.

I went to Bodie's yesterday and we started talking about your wheel hop issue. He said you were concerned about stiffness. The ride will get more firm, but it's hard to gauge stiffness with bushings and trailing arms since I have coil-overs and stiffer swaybars added with the initial bushing install.

Think I'll be selling my hardly used 245/45-20 P-Zeros. Got less than 300 miles on them. I mentioned it at Wounded soldiers if anyone is interested. On the fence on this one.

Taz, I may also be selling my Nitto INVO's, 275/35/20 and 315/35/20. Less than 1000 miles on them. I want to get the Nitto N205's but they are always on back order. I was thinking about getting 275's all aroung for the N205's but if you want to buy the Invo's for cheap let me know. It will "force" me to buy the N205's as opposed to waiting for the INVO's to wear out. With the amount of miles I put on, may take 3 years...lol.

Also, reminder, Autocross in set for March 13. Is anybody interested? I ran my 5th Gen this past race. In our class, C-Prepared, we had 3 Mustangs and an Impala, and of course the Impala won (experienced driver). Interesting is our times were all extremely close (less than a second) and I came in third. There were also 2 other Mustangs running in ESP and a very exprienced Camaro in ESP. We need more American Muscle. It's very fun and a safe environment to test the limits of your car's handling abilities. I'll post an in-car vid as soon as I can upload to YouTube. I hope to have my 4th Gen fixed by then.

Z,

Decided against the bumper. Thanks anyway. Give me a price on the Invos. When I actually find time on Sunday, I'll probably be named "cone killer" and use a lot of tire thread. Will be out of country that auto-x weekend. Bad timing haunts me... My future nickname will have to wait...

Thanks. With a spinal cord injury and all of my lumbar spine fused together limits how stiff the suspension can be and still be enjoyable to drive. I originally thought a full suspension upgrade but now just want to keep from wheel hopping and still be enjoyable for me to ride on cruise days>

I think there is a car show on saturday at Aikahi Park Shopping Center in Kailua starting around 4:30pm. Pretty small show if I remember correctly.
