T-Top Hugger Orange - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

After seeing the thread on T-Tops yesterday, thought it would be fun to PS one on the Hugger Orange. I had them on my old 78' Camaro. While the new style probably doesn't lend itself too well to T-Top compatability, it was fun making these. Without the added framework shown in photo 2, it seems to really look dis-jointed when tops are on.

well the t tops would be the same color as the windows but other wise i love it.

Done did! I just revised photos and reposted at top of thread. Also replaced one of the "frameless versions" with windows-down one.

Thanks! I assume you too must've had them on a prior vehicle? I really enjoyed them on my 78' Camaro. When I originally did these photoshops, was planning on a Targa-Style with no center bar.....but it def seemed to look better this way, retaining line of roof.

Yes, I had a '86 IROC with T-Tops. My wife and I enjoyed them very much. I was hoping that GM would produce them with the new Camaro but the more research I do, the more I realize that GM will not produce them.

Best to get the body reinforced then, so you don't get too much body-flex.
