Best way to clean Rally Stripes

I recently put on some Flat Black Rally Stripes on my Camaro, so what's the best way to clean them and maintain them?

Not sure about cleaning, probably soap and water, but most likely end with some Adam's VRT =D Those will pop those babies back.

Soap and water cleaning....

Anytime you wax or polish the car make sure to tape them off. Not that it'll damage the stripes, but you will get a buildup of product around the edge if you don't which is unsightly and difficult to remove.

This is going to sound odd, but Super VRT -

we originally found this solution last year at Hot August Nights when we were detailing an original BOSS mustang where the stripes had began to get blotchy. We tried everything we could think of and finally gave SVRT a try. Kind of weird considering its a product for vinyl, rubber, and plastic trim, but it really makes matte and satin paints even out.

There will be a tech article in next months Street Trucks magazine where we use it to even out a set of matte finished 24" wheels on project Graystone.

Use armor all, j/k. Keep wax off them if they are flat black.

So will this remove some wax buildup off of flat black stripes?

No. To remove wax use APC. Then go over them with the SVRT. SVRT is not a cleaner, only a protectant and gloss enhancer.

I personally wash like you wash the rest of the car. I use Turtle wax ICE synthetic wax on them about every other wash in the summer, I put a sealant like Klasse on them in the winter months. Winter months is november to march here.
