Bro, you are more than welcome to join us. there I'll be a group leaving the Austin area heading through J.C. Fredericksburg and on to IH 10 west of Kerrville.

Go to the first post in this thread and be sure to contact the hotel in Los cruces and pm me the number of folks in your vehicle. we are planning dinner Wednesday night in Los Cruces.

the fest dates are Friday and Saturday, the 15 and 16 of April... we are leaving the 13th drive to Los cruces, spend the night and then on to Chandler...

hope you can make it...

pm me if you need anything.

Robert... I won't be answering any pjs until late this evening... On my bike headed to Louisiana....

I need to be back Monday night, so I am up for whatever... As long as its fun, I dont want to stop just to stop. It should be fun... LIKE

New Orleans was last year. haha

HAPPY PAPPY... where was it we were discussing on stopping?

I'm game for whatever. I just don't think I want to exhaust myself driving all day and night Sunday. I'd rather just have a relaxed yet spirited drive coming home

Got word today that we close on the new house on April 13th...

But that means we will probably be moving the weekend of Camaro Fest since hubby already has the time off from work....

Originally was looking at the Gage in Marathon but they already have a large group in there on the 17th and I think the drive would be more then we want for Sunday.
I checked on another place in Van Horn which is about 8 1/2 hours from Chandler. The name of the place is El Capitan and they have 38 rooms available on the 17th. (basically the whole hotel) Rooms vary from $75 - $169 but we may be able to do better if we booked the whole hotel. I am adding a link so you can take a look and see what you think. There are a lot of other hotels in Van Horn but this is a little different.

Let me know if this is something you might be interested in and we can try to work out something with them.

If anyone here is interested in getting an ACE Custom Steering Wheel and having it installed at the Fest, send a PM to Mindz. He's handling the group-buy.

For this group-buy, the base price is 349.99 (leather wrapped like the stock steering wheel, but you get to pick the leather colors and stictching color), and there's an option of alcantara suede which adds to the price.

Normal starting price is 399.99, so basically, we're getting $50 off whatever we choose. So, if you're ready to buy, send Mindz a PM and he'll get you hooked up.

Yeah... 7 of us did one of those last year back to New Orleans... I re-set my speed average, ended up 95 and that's with slowing down for traffic.

To all attending the Pit Stop in Los Cruces...

The dinner being served at the Hilton will be charged to the rooms. If you happened to have booked at a different facility, bear in mind you may have to make other arrangements for the dinner meet and greet poolside...

Please help spread this to all those that you know of that are going, so no one is surprised...

Missy and I are up with traveling with a group on the way back. WE drove back from Valdosta in one day, we don't really want to do that again though!
