Pretty much each owner is going to stay loyal to whomever they represent. I have a few buddies that are ford boys, but if somone gave me a shelby GT500 or supersnake I would sell it immediately & go buy a camaro...simply because I love

and the Camaro especially(thats why I have owned 4). Everyone who knows me know its Chevy or die for me

I think most people do stay loyal to one company, like you said. I would do the same thing you would and sell a mustang to buy a Camaro. My loyalty is to the Camaro, and I am a proud Camaro owner. The difference for me is that I have no loyalty to GM. I will give Ford their due for avoiding bankruptcy, Honda for making the most reliable cars, etc. I would NOT take a bullet for GM. I would take a bullet for my Camaro.

To every figure becomes a double edged sword!

This is great news for GM and team Camaro! But..one cannot hail and celebrate the great Camaro sales and then complain when you are no longer unique or a rock star because the car has become the "Me too" car.

At some point, if the sales remain so strong and powerful, how will you feel when someone says "Ugh..you cant even swing a stick without hitting a 2010-2013 Camaro".

Because Camaro fans have been crowing about that since 2009. One usually reaps what one sews.

I'm just glad to see all three car manufacturers selling their products as long as it keeps American workers on the job and also our nice neighbors up in Canada. However, I do like the fact that Chevy is ahead overall.

On the first spreadsheet it shows 1022 Mustangs deliveries in May of 2010. I think the spreadsheet wasn't opened all the way and it should actually be 10,22x for deliveries. Got to give credit where credit is due.

Aww come on, I spent 2 years in the AOR, been to almost every friendly country, married a Filipino stripper, race part time and in my day job I get to see the worst in people.. I use to race a Camaro, I had a great crew (family), a fantastic mechanic (GM employee) and was a decent driver for my age.. But things happen..

GM left this market, and when they did it almost killed it... Imagine dumping alot of money into a Road racing '04 Mustang and finding out that because half the field that ran Camaros would NOT be racing this year because they exceeded the 3 year rule :(, therefore, races cannot be conducted with only 9 cars...

So, I will try again... but somewhere that doesn't rely on one or two companies...

The Camaro is the only vehicle in the position to hold the market until someone else revives it. I am hoping that the spring will bring attention to US sport coupes... In many ways, I reserve the right to directly bash my opponent, and it takes a lot of balls to do so on a forum that has key team members that post here... The customer is always right, regardless if he buys anything or not... I post on many different topics, and anything I say is open to correction from actual personnel on the Camaro production team... I could always be instantly shut down... just as long as I am wrong...

The convertible's should be reaching the dealers soon, the '12 Mustangs should have been shipped 2 weeks ago so I hope that the sales increase big time for spring but if gas keeps going up, we will keep going down...

Ecoboost and Ecotec I4's are coming, even though I hate 4 cylinders, Its the only way to increase sales... I just hope that they hurry up...

wow the Camaro is really outpacing them. mustang falls back to challenger sales level. This really proves when mustang outsold Camaro for a couple months last year it was just the 2010's being moved cheaply.

the interesting apart about this, is that Ford has made the best Mustang ever, blessed it with a great suspension and awesome engine and the Camaro is still outselling it and pulling away.
I think this all comes down to price point. The Mustang in the last 30 years or so was always lees expensive than the Camaro.
Now that they have improved the Mustang and "improved" the price, fewer people are buying the more expensive Mustangs.

I think when the convertible and ZL1 come out in large numbers the Camaro will absolutley crush the Mustang in sales. Until the next Mustang and Camaro come out to start the whole thing over again.

Road course? Who said anything about any course? I'm just referring to the fact that you seem to think the Mustang can out perform the Camaro and I simply said there will be plenty of 5th gens that would be willing to spank that Mustang any which way you like.
