I just had AHR 1 7/8 headers with hi flo cats and a Vararam super street installed along with a custom tune. The Hp is 25hp lower than the max torque. SAE. 354 hp 377 torque.
Any ideas why? It is l99 with auto.

It's not shocking to see numeric torque be higher than numeric horsepower sometimes. It just happens.

AWESOME!!! Who gives a stink about HP. You want TQ. HP = fast, TQ = quick!

This is Typical of the L99 with Stock Cam.

We see this all the time.

torque= drag cars , HP = race cars

It's probably because you have AHR headers instead of ARH...

Mine was that way with the tune, headers, and csi. I'd rather have more tq.
