Question about the all leather interior

Hi,

I found this in with CamaroScotty's post of Chicago auto show pics. It looks like a leather interior, but the seating part looks to have some kind of fabric. Will this be the norm for leather interior? I asumed it was all leather

This is not the leather style seats on the final production....I'll look for some. Also, the final leather are "Leather Appointed Front Seating Areas" as defined in the 17 page Camaro Ordering guide.

I can verify, from the Toronto show, that the leather seats are just that through and through. The edges to get a wrinkled effect from getting in and out, but with normal conditioning it will last forever. The leather is a good thick quality, and it feels like a catchers mit, once broken in, thus the strong quality. Hope this helps. I know there are some pics around from some autoshows.

This link is from the Montreal show, and it has a couple of pics of the front seats, that may help you out.

I think your right. SCotty must have had permission to go behind the ropes. YOu can see in this photo, that the black concept is behind plexi-glass wall, but you can see the silver one behind like in the first photo I posted here...

Not to mention the stitching in the seat is not in the normal pattern. Definately a custom job. And the black tolored door panel trim, which is not an option.

I believe this is the same material used on the CTS-V. It's a microfiber material. But I agree, it isn't in the leather seats in the SS I drove Friday.

Odd how they spent money to make a very nice custom interior and let almost nobody see it.

Uh the car has not even launched yet and the public really has not seen it till about oh 3 hours from now (Pace car). Advertising and info is just starting. Why does everything have to be so in stone when they are still putting the final touches on thing?

Take a chill pill.

I wish that was what the leather seating was for production, that looks amazing.
