Hah, I think you're right. I've been working on a huge project here at work, and been kinda "out of it." I too would like the bigger version.

It looks like it covers about 2 1/2 of the bars where as the original covered about 2 of the bars. Is that correct? Sorry, I'm at work on my phone. From here it doesn't look a whole lot bigger.

yeah, based off the pics on here, that sounds about right... but I think that extra little bit really makes a difference, since that in turn adds to the width as well.

Edit: On a second look, maybe even just shy of 3 bars.

They are not much bigger, but I think the new size looks perfect. So if we ordered these now, would we get the bigger ones?

So the newer heritage grille emblems are larger, which blows cause I own his first size which is smaller.. Maybe I can get him to swap it out.. Since they are the same price.

I just got the original size myself last month and was always on the fence because of the size. I would be glad to see a larger one, just have to figure out if I want to pony up more cash :(

can we get them to verify the difference in size?... like what were the original dimensions.. and what are the new ones?.... in inches, no in "bars on heritage grill"

I'll bet the General is making their own. By the the time they "approve" of the design they will be selling their own.

They already are approved. Sparks restorations has the gm licensing. I just ordered my heritage grille and will be ordering the rear and new larger front ss emblems next week

This has got to be one of the most ridiculous waiting games I've ever seen.

14 pages and 532 posts later.

The majority of us want an "SS" emblem we can put on our stock grill not the Heritage!

We have heard for months it is coming! LOL!

The sad thing is we have no options to turn too.

So we will just have to sit back and wait and be held hostage, but I have to say if approval has been made then the approved vendor has really dropped the ball for those of us wanting a stock grill emblem.

Otherwise if I'm totally wrong and I can get one for my STOCK GRILL immediately, please let me know, I will buy one asap and shut my pie hole.
