I can pretty much do any of the dates, my work schedule isnt released until a week before i work so I cant really way which days i definitely cant do. Not sure what my mother is planning on doing with the Camaro but I would like to get the Vette up on the lift and probably do an oil change and check the rear differential integrity and fluids. Other than that I'll just cleaning the hell out of the whole car.

I may have an actual mod for mod day. Changing out the V6 master cylinder for the V8 master cylinder. There has been a discussion on the differences between V6 owners who have Brembos. I also found out that all of the SEMA Concept cars with Brembos (Dusk, Black, Leno) Had the master cylinders changed as well with the brake upgrade.

Get with Heinz. That may be more than we care to tackle this time. I for one have no idea how to attack that job.

Okey dohkey. Looks simple in the book, hardest part will be collecting the brake fluid.

Are there any threads on Camaro5 with instructions for doing this?

GC, I have something similar, though it is much cheaper looking than that I didn't think it worked for crap but I think it would if it were better quality. I fell for the "get what you pay for" ploy.

Bring it along, can't hurt to try it!

I found a bracket design in another thread. I will make some up for us. I have some steel laying around anyway.

I doubt such manuals would cover replacing a V6 car component with a V8 car component.

There's is no specific V6 or V8 install in the book only one set of master cylinder replacement instructions.

The power booster is the same on both cars so technically it should bolt right up.
