clicking noise????

Lately I've noticed when I put my 2LT in gear it makes a clicking noise every once in awhile, then earlier I noticed sometimes when i let off the gas and press the gas the clicking noise is there. Kind of hard to explain what it sounds like, maybe a metallic click or something? Has anybody else noticed anything similiar to this?? It seems that it's coming from the rear left part of the vehicle. thanks for the help

If it's ticking then it's normal, as the engine is getting warmer, but actually its the engine, CTS's have the same issue. I just found out at scheduled maintenance

Video clip

You're not alone. I have the clicking situation. Some say it's normal but I say no since not all V6 have the cliking. Mine is stored but I'll look into that when it's out. It appears to be coming from a High Pressure Pump.

Here's a video. It's not from my car but I have the same cliking on mine:

Best example around 1:21 minute and 1:48.

I was wondering this also for a while, but found an old thread asking the same thing.

Has to do with the direct injections apparently. It's normal. But it's weird only some camaros do it. I've seen other v6's (even my own) that doesn't do it. Really random it seems.

Montreal2010 yellow. I watched your video and it wasn't coming from the engine. It appeared to be on the back right part of the car. But thanks though. Also for everyone elses input thanks.
